On Friday October 21 2022 we had our second Microbiome Friday event at the Institute for Advanced Studies (IAS). During this second event two of our own presented their work to their peers.
- Raymond Pasman (UvA (MBMFS)) – ‘Candida albicans and Staphylococcus aureus: deadly duality in the oral cavity’
- Nicholas Pucci (AUMC)- ‘Genomic adaptations of Bifidobacteria to vertical transmission and early life gut colonisation’
Many came to IAS to attend the afternoon, which led to a nice “borrel” afterwards. We also had some colleagues join us online.
